Rejuran or Juvelook Near Incheon Airport: What Differences Should Guide Your Choice?

How Rejuran helps skin recover and Juvelook stimulates collagen production for texture, elasticity and volume, with product selection by treatment area, skin thickness and hollowing, plus under-eye precautions.

YJ Central ClinicPublished Updated

Rejuran and Juvelook are not simply an either-or choice. Just as a fork and spoon serve different roles, these treatments target different concerns. Are you concerned about sensitive skin, fine lines, pores or redness? Or about sagging skin, loss of elasticity and deep, sunken creases? Your choice can vary accordingly, and you may need both Rejuran and Juvelook.

At YJ Central Clinic on Yeongjong Island near Incheon Airport, we first assess the areas that concern you and your skin condition. Tell us whether it is fine lines around your eyes, texture on your forehead or cheeks, or hollowing under your eyes or in your cheeks. We will explain the products and treatment plan once we have identified the goals for each treatment.

How do Rejuran and Juvelook differ?

Rejuran focuses on restoring the skin itself and improving its quality, while Juvelook stimulates collagen production and is used for skin texture, elasticity and volume restoration. When comparing the two, we consider their ingredients as well as the area and purpose of treatment.

Rejuran's main ingredient is polynucleotide (PN). Juvelook contains poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA) and hyaluronic acid (HA). Even within the same brand, the composition and selection criteria differ between products.

Did you know that Rejuran and Juvelook each have different products for different goals? Rejuran includes Rejuran i, Rejuran and Rejuran HB+. The choice depends on whether your concern is the eye area, forehead or cheek skin, recovery of sensitive skin and facial redness, or prevention of fine lines.

Juvelook includes Juvelook i, Juvelook and Juvelook Volume. We choose between them according to the degree of hollowing, the area involved—eyes, nasolabial folds or cheeks—and skin thickness and elasticity.

Choosing a Rejuran product

The Rejuran products available at YJ Central Clinic are Rejuran i, Rejuran and Rejuran HB Plus. We first check whether the area is around the eyes or on the forehead or cheeks. We also consider whether you want to help sensitive skin recover and address facial redness, or improvement or prevention of fine lines.

Product Differences and considerations during consultation
Rejuran i (REJURAN i) Selected after assessing fine lines in thin-skinned areas such as around and under the eyes.
Rejuran (REJURAN) Selected according to facial skin condition, including the forehead or cheeks, and concerns about fine lines and texture.
Rejuran HB Plus (REJURAN HB PLUS) Contains HA and lidocaine in addition to PN. We assess your skin condition, desired changes and concerns about treatment pain together.

Choosing a Juvelook product

Juvelook also includes Juvelook i, Juvelook and Juvelook Volume. The choice depends on whether the concern is around the eyes, nasolabial folds or cheeks, how hollow the area is, how thin the skin is and how much elasticity has been lost.

Product Differences and considerations during consultation
Juvelook i (JUVELOOK i) Recommended for under-eye areas or thin skin, where particle clumping is a concern. Its volume-filling effect may be limited.
Juvelook (JUVELOOK) Selected for texture and elasticity improvement and correction of hollowing, according to the area, skin thickness and degree of hollowing.
Juvelook Volume (JUVELOOK Volume) Recommended for volume restoration in markedly hollow areas. We consider the desired change and the risk of particle clumping together.

Product names are often shortened, so we will explain the full name of the product to be used during consultation. For thin areas such as under the eyes, product selection is followed by a pretreatment examination and aftercare guidance.

Are the selection criteria the same for skin texture concerns and hollow cheeks?

Rejuran focuses on restoring the health of the skin itself. When skin becomes sensitive, its barrier is disrupted or its condition declines, we focus on helping it recover and improving its quality. As Rejuran helps skin become healthier, the skin gains radiance, fine lines smooth out and pores become smaller.

Juvelook is a collagen booster. It stimulates the formation of new collagen within the skin. We use it to improve elasticity, texture and overall skin quality. It also restores volume naturally in markedly hollow areas such as the nasolabial folds, under the eyes, the outer and front areas of the cheeks.

If wrinkles appear only when you grimace or frown, do not forget Botox treatment. Botox works in a completely different way. It reduces muscle movement to control expression lines and changes caused by excessive muscle activity.

For fine lines and skin texture, we recommend Rejuran and skin Botox. For significant sagging, we recommend treatment combined with radiofrequency devices such as Thermage or SUNNY. For hollow cheeks or under-eyes, we recommend filler if you want faster correction, and Juvelook if you want natural-looking volume with a firmer feel.

What should I ask if I can only have one treatment in Korea?

For a single visit, we decide together which concerns and areas to treat, when to assess the changes and when additional care may be needed. Tell us whether skin recovery is your priority or whether you want to address hollowing or elasticity first. If you can continue treatment over multiple visits, we will explain a plan that takes future visits into account.

If you want to visit before departing from Incheon Airport, tell us your departure date and the dates you can attend the clinic. We also check important photo shoot dates, considering possible swelling or bruising after skin injections. We will assess your skin, treatment areas and remaining stay to discuss which procedures to have during this visit and which to plan for later.

Should I tell you about procedures I had at another clinic?

Tell us about injections or fillers in the same area, even if you received them elsewhere. The product name, treatment date, area and subsequent skin reactions help us plan your current treatment. If you had a procedure overseas and do not know its Korean name, prepare a record showing the original product name.

When choosing a product, we explain possible reactions such as bruising, swelling and palpable nodules caused by particle clumping, alongside your desired changes. We also explain aftercare, situations that require follow-up and how to contact us if a problem occurs. If clumping persists or new discomfort develops, tell us the product, treated area and symptoms.

Frequently asked questions

Which Juvelook should be chosen for under-eye or thin-skinned areas?

We use Juvelook i in areas such as under the eyes where particles must not clump. We also recommend Juvelook i for people with thin skin. However, its volume-filling effect may be limited. For markedly hollow areas, we recommend Juvelook or Juvelook Volume. In these cases, however, there is a risk of particle clumping, so a careful examination and consultation beforehand, along with aftercare guidance, are necessary.

Can I book just a consultation without choosing a product?

In your booking inquiry, write that you would like to decide after a consultation about Rejuran and Juvelook. Send us the areas that concern you most, the changes you would like and your available visit dates. We will assess your skin and explain whether both treatments are needed.

How should I prepare if I do not know the name of my previous procedure?

Look for your treatment records or a guide with the product name from that clinic. If you cannot obtain records, tell us when and where you received the treatment and what reactions followed, and explain that you do not know the product name.

For a consultation, send your areas of concern, desired changes, previous injection records and dates of your stay in Korea through WhatsApp or LINE. You can also check consultation topics in YJ Central Clinic's anti-aging and lifting care guide.
