Are you thinking about stopping by a skin clinic near Incheon Airport on the day you arrive or before you fly home? YJ Central Dermatology & Plastic Surgery Clinic is a 15-minute drive from Incheon Airport. You will also need enough time for immigration procedures and for your consultation and treatment at the clinic. Send us your flight date and time, terminal, and skin concern, and we will let you know which visit times may work. We will decide on a treatment plan together after examining your skin and reviewing the rest of your travel schedule.
If you would like to visit on your departure day, please also tell us what time you need to arrive at the airport. We need to allow time for your consultation, treatment, aftercare instructions, and the drive back to the airport. If your schedule is tight, we can discuss visiting on another day or having a consultation only.
How do I work backwards from my flight time?
For a departure-day visit, start with the airport arrival time recommended by your airline. Subtract the time needed to get from the clinic to the airport and the time you may spend at the clinic. This will help you work out when your appointment needs to finish.
It also matters whether you are flying from Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. Check your ticket together with the Incheon Airport terminal and departure guide. Traffic and appointment times vary from day to day and from patient to patient, so please leave some flexibility in your schedule.
If you are considering a visit during a layover, first check whether you can enter Korea and leave the airport. Ask your airline how much time you need for baggage handling and the departure process for your connecting flight. Once you have confirmed that entry and re-departure are possible, send us the times and terminals for both flights so we can advise you on possible appointment times.
What should I include in my first booking enquiry?
Please send your skin concern together with your flight details. This helps us consider both the time you may need at the clinic and the rest of your trip.
- The patient's full name and date of birth
- Whether English or Chinese interpretation is needed
- The date and time of the arriving or departing flight
- Whether you will use Terminal 1 or Terminal 2
- If you are going to the airport after your appointment, the time you need to arrive there
- Your main skin concern and when the symptoms began
- Any medicines you currently take or apply to your skin
- The date and treatment area of any recent laser treatment, peel, injection, or lifting procedure
- Any fixed plans such as a photo shoot, outdoor activity, or swimming
If you would like English or Chinese interpretation, please mention it when you enquire. We will arrange for an interpreter to be on duty on your requested appointment date.
You do not need to know the name of a treatment in advance. Simply tell us which area is bothering you and what change you are hoping for. You can find our address and contact channels on the clinic hours and directions page. Please wait for our reply before confirming your visit date and time.
Why doesn't an available appointment mean treatment is suitable before my flight?
Even if an appointment slot is available, whether a treatment is suitable before your flight needs to be assessed during your consultation. We need to consider your current symptoms, previous procedures and medicines, the area to be treated, and how your skin may respond.
Please tell us if your flight or an important photo shoot is coming up soon. We will explain the changes you may reasonably expect, any discomfort after treatment, and the recovery process. Depending on your skin and schedule, we may suggest a different approach, postpone treatment, or have a consultation only.
How soon you can fly after a procedure depends on the treatment and your skin condition. Once your treatment has been decided, follow the medical team's guidance and check that it fits your flight schedule.
What aftercare information should I get before leaving Korea?
If you have treatment, please check how to care for your skin after you return home. We will give instructions suited to your procedure, including when to wash your face, wear makeup, use sun protection, exercise, drink alcohol, and restart your usual skincare products.
Keep a note on your phone of the treatment name, date, treatment area, and aftercare instructions. Ask which symptoms mean you should contact the clinic and how to reach us after you return home. If you need medical care locally, you can show this information to the clinician treating you.
You can update us through a messaging app, but urgent symptoms need prompt, in-person care at a nearby medical facility. If your symptoms become severe or worsen quickly after you return home, do not wait for our reply before seeking local medical care. Share the details of the treatment you received in Korea with the clinician treating you.
Frequently asked questions
Can I leave the airport and visit during a layover?
It depends on your nationality and entry requirements, connecting flights, baggage arrangements, and the time available. First confirm with your airline and the relevant authorities that you can enter Korea and depart again. If they confirm that you can, send us the times and terminals for both flights.
Can I enquire in English or request English or Chinese interpretation?
Yes. You can contact us in English through WhatsApp or LINE. If you would like English or Chinese interpretation on the day of your appointment, please tell us when you enquire. We will arrange for an interpreter to be on duty on your requested date. Please wait for the clinic's reply before confirming your visit date and time.
What should I have ready if I need help after returning home?
Keep the treatment name, date, treatment area, aftercare instructions, and photos showing how your symptoms have changed. If your symptoms are severe or worsen quickly, do not wait for a reply by message. Seek in-person care at a nearby medical facility.
Send us your flight details and skin concern, and YJ Central will let you know which visit times may be possible. If you hope to visit on your departure day, please include the time you need to arrive at the airport. Enquire on WhatsApp · Enquire on LINE
